What can NetTeacher do?

The NetTeacher teacher tool was developed for IT lessons to make the teacher’s daily work in the computer room easier and more effective.

It reduces the workload of the school network administrator, as time-consuming daily issues, such as resetting pupils’ forgotten passwords, can be resolved by the IT teacher themselves without needing to add them to the group of administrators.

A common annoyance at the start of a lesson is when individual pupils are missing files from the previous lesson. This problem often costs a lot of valuable teaching time and can be minimised by NetTeacher, as the teacher can distribute the missing files to all pupils’ home directories with just a few mouse clicks, allowing everyone to continue working immediately. 

The tool is installed on all teacher workstations in the IT rooms and, in addition to the ability to reset passwords, can distribute files to users/pupils and collect them again. The pupils’ work is clearly labelled with name and date and saved, for example, on the teacher’s USB stick, where it can be assessed by the teacher.

It even includes an exam mode for secure computer-based practical exams on the PC.
